This project aims to demonstrate the work of the artist, emphasizing his exploration of sound and human interaction. The design has to be a visual representation of his unique approach to music, offering insight into his creative vision.
The design derives from the HJ logo, the pattern mirrors jazz’s sleek lines, and fluid rhythm. Applied to coasters, drum fronts, and vinyl sleeves, the pattern has become a defining element of House of Jazz’s visual identity. Its sleek, flowing lines lend the space movement, and sophistication, mirroring the fluid elegance of jazz.
The design focuses on creating a timeless and elegant experience, while maintaining a modern sensibility. The typography subtly suggests the shape of an instrument, with the letters alluding to forms that could be seen as part of it, leaving room for interpretation.
The concept achieves a balance between sophistication and modernity, creating an aesthetic that feels both classic and contemporary. The colour palette reinforces the elegant and modern vibes.
